Disclosure: Werner sent me a portable scaffolding to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
I have been working in property management off and on for a number of years. The various tools that I use can be quite extensive. Among my various tasks are changing light tubes, ceiling tiles, basic maintenance and painting in a commercial building. I recently changed 60 light tubes and 15 ceiling tiles in a vacant unit. This is accomplished by going up and down ladders repeatedly. Of course it also means moving it each time I needed to reach a new light or tile.
What would have been good would have been a scaffolding to roll between sections. It would have been especially good if it had a shelf for putting my box of light tubes on. Hooks on the end would have been useful to hold the old tubes.
Werner Scaffolding is perfect for small projects.
Werner now has a portable wheeled 4 foot scaffolding, that is the perfect height for projects like this. This gives me the flexibility of rolling it from place to place. The scaffold has two separate planks, one to be used for a shelf, while you stand on the other. In addition it has hooks that can be used to hold bags for garbage, or other attachments that could be used for various purposes.
I worked with Werner last year and found the products they sent me ( A multi position ladder and plank) were far better, then what I was used to. I ended up saving myself a lot of time, by using them in various projects I did over the last year. This scaffolding folds down so nice and small, that it’s definitely going to be another tool that I haul out to use more then others, because of it’s convenience and it’s durability.
Amazon has a wide selection of Werner Products available and you will likely find some at many of your local building supplies dealers.
We have had to rent one many times. My hubby and I do renoe’s and repairs for our self and our clients.
This would be good to use for washing my windows
This is perfect of outside/inside work, especially when I’m trying to wash or clean areas that are really hard to get to!
It looks so sturdy and safe and that is what I am always looking for.
I could see many uses for this Scaffolding. We have a couple of wooden windows that we could use this for to paint or even washing the window outside. It would be perfect for painting inside the house too.
Looks like very sturdy Scaffolding. This would be fantastic when we are washing our siding and windows.
This sounds like a very handy scaffolding both inside and outside of the home.
Our house is fairly high so my hubby could definitely use this for winter prep.
My husband could use this to clean out our eaves troughs and it would help to paint the house
This looks perfect for painting the top of my window sills. I can’t reach them, and I’m not a fan of ladders.
This looks great, I know hubby has been wanting something like this so I will have to check it out. Thanks for the review.
I agree, Werner Scaffolding is perfect for small projects.
, Werner Scaffolding is perfect for projects around the home
This sure would come in useful next year when we plan to do a couple windows.
Great if you got a “fixer-upper.”
Their multi position ladder and plank makes for way easier painting, that’s for sure. A very big thanks to you and Werner I found this out from you giveaway last year!!
My dad is doing a huge indoor painting project, doing the walls & ceiling… it would sure be nice & easier for him to utilize the Werner scaffolding to help get to those hard to reach areas.
This scaffolding would be very useful for lots of jobs around the house. I like that it is sturdy and has hooks and a platform that can be used to hold items.
Super useful for projects around the home. Wheels make it easy to move, too!
This would be a great tool to have for so many chores.
