I don’t actually have pets, but lets be serious… this little vacuum is a really a major advantage for us. To start with we used to have pets, but our son tends to be aggressive with animals because of his autism and so we have chosen not to get any. However this does not mean we are exempt from animal hair.
To start with, we did have cats in the past. So we did have experience. Also one recent move, the previous tenant did not properly clean and we spent almost 6 months finding pet hair everywhere. In all honesty there was so much pet hair left behind it felt like they hadn’t cleaned the entire time they lived there. So we have learned over time the value of having a seriously good petvac.
Now to add to that we have kids. Like all kids ours are not always the tidiest and that especially includes the car. Before this we had used rather large bulky fullsized vacuums to get things cleaned up, but a newer smaller vehicle with a far different configuration means that is no longer going to work. We had some car vacs as well but they were weak at best. This little PetVac is actually going to make that chore a breeze.
Black+Decker has a new PetVac out that is part of the SmartTech line. They are a great line of products. The batteries tend to be strong and last forever and they are usually adaptive to the conditions. In this particular case, the PetVac actually adapts it’s strength depending on whether it senses it is on a hard floor or on a carpet.

Did I mention we have 4 dogs? Plus we puppysit & foster kittens. Thus I really study up on my vacuums since I use them everyday. Pet hair is just part of our house but I do try to keep up with it. Living in a bi level home this lil vacuum would be super on the stairs! Plus, we go everywhere with all the pups. So I imagine our this vacuum will be wonderful for a daily quick vac of the truck. Like I said…Impressive!

I like that this vac features anti tangle bristles. That is just what we need around our house. I would also like the 36V Max stick vac for larger jobs around the house that might need a quick touch up.
