I received a BLACK+DECKER™ 20V MAX* Multi-Purpose Inflator for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own.
We never really think of the value a proper inflator provides until we actually need one. A couple of days ago, I ran into a situation where I was fixing up a broken moving dolly. The dolly was not a cheap one. It had seen better days. It was so bad, that I had to replace the nuts on the tires. Because they had been sheared off. When I fixed it up, I realized that the tires were flat on it. My boss had an inflator, but the cord had recently been stolen.
Testing Out The Black+Decker Inflator
I knew that I had this inflator at home and decided that it would be a really good opportunity to test it out. I can say this, It easily surpassed expectations. For other inflators that I have watched pump up car tires before. A person sits there by their car waiting for an hour or so for their tire to pump up enough to move the car. So I planned it out, I would hook up the inflator. Then I would go off and do a couple of things before switching tires.
Not exactly how it worked out. I hooked up the inflator, turned it on, and in 5 secs it had the first tire pumped up. Moved on to the next same thing. I never tried it on anything larger. My kids have some soccer balls that need to be inflated. That will be my next project.
There are a few interesting details with this inflator that I really love. It has both a cigarette lighter plug as well as a wall plug built right in. There are no wires to lose. They are built right in. The inflator doesn’t come with the battery. But, don’t worry because it will also accept 20V Max batteries. This is great for me as I already have a number of Black+Decker tools using this battery type which makes it a great fit for my tool selection.
The BLACK+DECKER™ 20V MAX* Multi-Purpose Inflator is very good at what it does, and once again I end up finding myself surprised at just how strong and effective Black+Decker’s tool lineup can be.

Tried clicking to see a food processor but nadda lol, ok how about the electric hedge trimmer? I need something that an old person can use, who has troubles holding things up in the air too much (Carpel tunnel which i’m sure I’ll have to have surgery for due to what my job entails)
