I received a selection of ZeroWater products to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
The Summer is in full swing, and hydration should be at the top of everyone’s mind as we head to the beach, pool and any outdoor activity. The important thing to remember when trying to stay hydrated is to keep ahead of the game. Make sure you drink enough water to stay hydrated, so that when your body sweats you have enough reserve to help. In addition, we of course need to be drinking clean and safe water. This is where filtered pitchers and tumblers help.
Recently we purchased a leading brand’s filter water bottle and were quite disappointed with how much of a struggle it was to drink from. It required a significant effort to suck water up through the straw and felt like you were constantly fighting resistance.
These Zerowater tumblers are pretty awesome! Not only do they function easily, compared to my recent purchase, but they are also great to take along on days out with the kids. They help to make sure you stay hydrated during this recent heat wave that we are experiencing right now.
We received a number of products to try out.
- An 8-cup stainless steel pitcher, that looks great as well as functioning well.
- a 10-cup ready-pour pitcher with a spout on the back to make it even easier to use.
- a 23-cup pitcher to help keep a large supply of cool water available in the fridge or cooler when travelling.
- 3 tumblers
Years ago we made a conscious decision not to introduce pop to our children at a young age. As a result, they have chosen a healthier lifestyle with a lot of water. We have even over the years walked away from our pop and turned largely to water (and coffee of course). However when you start drinking lots of water then you also start to concern yourself with making sure that you are getting the best quality water available.
One of the more interesting things about the ZeroWater system to me was the 5 stage filtration system. This system works to remove 99.6% of dissolved solids.
