Disclosure. I was provided a 17 foot multiposition ladder as well as an 8-13 foot aluminum extension plank for the purposes of this review. All opinions are my own.
A couple of months ago my father was over helping me do some tidying up in the back yard. He was up on an 8 foot step ladder on my deck. Then he decided that he would climb onto the roof to clean the gutters that way. We were on the deck and there is only one level to our house. So it worked, but it was still a bit of a chore.
I realized once again that I really needed a better ladder. In addition it would be helpful if I had a platform as well so I could use it productively while I was painting as well.
I was pleased when I got the chance to work with Werner to review this Multiposition ladder. It would definitely ease getting on the roof. It would also make it that much easier for me to trim a couple of large bushes I had in my yard as we prepped for winter.
The Ladder Easily Shifted Through It’s Positions
I was actually surprised at how little effort it took to shift the ladder through it’s various positions. In addition I was especially impressed with the scaffolding option which allowed me to use the ladder as a scaffold base (and the plank as the scaffolding plank). I was also pleased with the stair function as well. I am always finding it difficult trying to reach the high spots on stairs when I am painting the house. This will allow me to reach most of those spots with relative ease.
