The hit series The Wild Thornberrys follows the Thornberry family as they travel the world in their Communications Vehicle (or CommVee) looking for rare animals to film. After an encounter with a mysterious shaman, their youngest child Eliza was given the power to speak to animals! Travelling all over the world with her family of daffy documentarians, Eliza uses her fantastic skill to help teach us about the lifestyles and habitats of the world’s most exotic creatures. You will get to encounter wildlife in all its natural glory and eavesdrop on Eliza’s conversations with silverback gorillas, pythons, crested grebes, tapirs, capybaras, antelopes and more while the CommVee travels on!
The Wild Thornberrys is definitely interesting an interesting show. The wacky family is great at helping to teach children about the animals around us, and still manages to bring fun to the series. The family dynamic, which is almost stereotypical in it’s eccentricities, helps round out the story and keeps things interesting as well.
Your kids will definitely find this to be one of those fun and enjoyable presents this holiday season and the 91 episodes will give them plenty of educational entertainment to watch during the long holiday break. To top it all off, it is fun enough and interesting enough, that this series will be something for the whole family to watch and enjoy.
