I received a Polar M600 to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
A couple of years ago we hit a milestone, and while age has always been nothing more then a number to my wife and I. We also realized that those numbers could include side effects. Att that point that we both decided to lead a healthier lifestyle, since we have special needs kids that depend on both of us.
One of the problems with passing forty is the dreaded middle aged spread. Some can battle it quite successfully and others gleefully never have to deal with it. However, many of us have to work hard to dent it, I unfortunately appear to be in the latter category. We changed our diets, increased exercise, and nothing has seemed to touch my widening belly.
The Polar M600 Android Smart Fit Watch
The opportunity to check out the Polar M600 fitness tracker watch actually was something that intrigued me. The heart rate monitor and various other monitors would be wonderful to help me track my various activities. A lot of people will be thrilled to note that once you connect it to your android phone you can access a large number of your apps through the watch. I found that they personally distracted me from my goal, so I simply disconnected the ones I felt were not helpful to my daily routine. The connectivity with the phone did allow for some better understanding and analysis of some of the tracking data. All which can help to focus my routine better into a more productive system.
Since receiving the fitness watch, my wife and I have increase our fitness activity tremendously. The watch has been a great tool in monitoring our progress to help us stay on track. The bonus is because it is waterproof, you dont have to worry if your activities end up soaking the watch.
