On November 4th, PAW Patrol, the #1 show on Nick Jr. U.S., is coming to Canada for the first time on DVD.
PAW Patrol – Winter Rescues is the first launch of this CG-animated series starring a pack of six heroic puppies – Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma and Skye. The team is led by a tech-savvy 10-year-old boy named Ryder. Together, the PAW Patrol works to protect the Adventure Bay community, believing that, “No job is too big, no pup is too small!”
The show focuses on citizenship, social skills and problem-solving, teaching kids that working together helps get any job done.
My kids had never had the opportunity to see this show previously, so when my kids saw there was a new show to watch they were totally into the idea. I found the stories to be great and very concise lessons of how to do things in the real world. The kids on the other hand just loved the pups and what they had to say. The message was absorbed and the kids were entertained.
More importantly then anything else was the fact that it kept them engaged for the entire 6 episode selection and that is something that happens very rarely.
Overall this was a great DVD that the kids will watch over and over. The stories were fun and engaging and will definitely be something that your kids will enjoy.
