Kinder Eggs Makes Busy February Just A Bit Easier

February has been a rather special month this year.

In Atlantic Canada we have broken records for snowfall, schools have been closed an unheard of number of times.  Oh,  and this is the month we pick to try to move.

Two special needs kids,  packed boxes,  more boxes being packed and repeated snow days is enough to make parents everywhere question why they even try to move at all.  The reality is that sometimes you need to find that little treat to help make the day go just a little smoother and a little quieter (at least for 15 minutes or so) and we found that sometimes when that treat is Kinder Eggs, it can turn a very rough day into a little bit of fun.

 Kinder Eggs Make For A Fun Break

As always my kids loved the toys in the Kinder eggs.  While the chocolate disappeared, sometimes it really is a question whether my kids are more interested in the toys or the chocolate.  Since all my kids have a love for chocolate it is quite a surprise to find something that can divert their attention even just for a little while.

Overall given all the snow, being cooped up in the house while we were trying to pull off a move and generally getting on each others nerves as all siblings tend to do,  the chance to find something enjoyable for them to do together was a welcome change of pace and something quite important for even our sanity as we tried to juggle the hundred and one little details we had to keep in mind as we prepared for every possible eventuality that a move with special needs kids could possibly throw at us.

Just a little something for parents to remember as the ends of winter seem to be such a long way away.
