Foxmind Games gave us a copy of Equilibrio to review. It is the last of 6 games that they provided for us and in all honesty is again a good game for an educational style game. Much like Architecto it is a game that involves turning a 2 dimensional image into a 3 dimensional structure. This particular game is actually a slight bit harder game then Architecto and because of that is a great complement to that game.
I found it to be a very interesting game and personally felt that it required a bit of effort, It has six progressive levels of difficulty allowing you an opportunity to get used to the concept of the game before you move on to the more complex and difficult structures that make up the higher level of the game. In all honesty these games I find to be very enjoyable to play, I like them and so do the kids allowing us the opportunity to play together in a cooperative and non competitive way (something that is very rare in todays games)
Players will need dexterity, ingenuity and perseverance to succeed in building the amazing vertical structures featured in Equilibrio. Some structures may seem almost impossible to do, but careful planning and persistence will always be rewarded with the satisfaction of completing the challenge.
Equlibrio is part of the Architecto line, which consists of 4 exquisite games of spatial visualization. In these games, players progress at their own rhythm, as puzzles gradually become more challenging. All games include the same set of Geoblocks and a spiral book with 6 color-coded levels of difficulty.
