I received the Angry Birds Swag Bag mentioned here for the purposes of a review, however all opinions are my own(or my kids).
National Geographic Kids has come up with an excellent companion to the new Angry Birds movie.
This companion book explains many of the interesting little details, tricks and tools that Red and his friends will need to make the trip to get back their eggs.
I received a swag bag containing not only their companion book “Red’s Big Adventure” but also “Angry Birds Playground”, a geographical adventure book about all the different areas on the planet. The bag also contained some “early bird worm” gummies and a set of stick on “Red’s Eyebrows”. My kids have been after the movie since long the day it came out, and the idea of getting their hands on this set of books and fun stuff, was something that thrilled them.
Through out the year my kids have collected a large number of books from National Geographic kids as part of me being a NGKInsider. Every time the UPS truck shows up they are looking to see if it is from National Geographic Kids and what books they sent us this time.
From an early age 2 of my kids took to reading and the oldest has started to show the same level of interest in books over the past couple of years as well. Having all these great books and activities that were not only fun but also educational has made my children incredibly happy.
