The Dreampad Musical Pillow Sleep Aid

The Dreampad is a Pillow that delivers music through a gentle vibration that only the user can hear, helping its user to fall asleep more quickly.

The Dreampad uses the theory that sound travels through the bones in a person’s body. For example, from your mouth, through your bones, to your ear. In the same way, music from the Dreampad travels internally to your ear and relaxes your body through what has been aptly described as a “massage to the nervous system.” More than 80% of the participants in a recent study showed a significant relaxation response within 15 minutes of using the Dreampad pillow.

The Dreampad was first developed by iLs (integrated Listening systems) to help children who experience anxiety and sleep difficulties. When parents saw how effective it could be, they started to try it themselves and found similar positive results. It was then redesigned for use by everyone and re-released for both therapeutic and general purposes. iLs has been involved in several independent studies to illustrate the effectiveness of the Dreampad. Preliminary data has shown that the Dreampad stimulates the body’s relaxation response, which allows the user to release stress and fall asleep. Users of the Dreampad have enjoyed better sleep and noted improvement with daytime performance, including physical, emotional, social and executive functioning. Studies to date have included children and adults, with both groups seeing equal benefit.

The Dreampad was launched to the general public in 2014 with the Mini in April and introducing a full range of Dreampads (full-size pillows) early in 2015.
