Most parent’s of young children will remember the Teletubbies and the love that many kids had for this simple show. Now Teletubbies is experiencing a reboot with more up to date scenery and incorporating technology to bring it’s fun and joy back to new generations of toddlers and preschoolers. My kids used to love watching Teletubbies while they were growing up and I have no doubt that toddlers growing up today will have the same love for the new show as our kids did just a few short years ago.
Much-loved preschool show, Teletubbies, is back with 60 newly modernized episodes
They also bring a brand-new range of adorable plush toys featuring the iconic characters, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po! Debuting on Family Jr. in early 2016, the new series (60 x 12 min. episodes) stays true to the original series. It is designed to captivate the hearts and minds of today’s digital toddlers. The new show has many updated elements as well as visual CGI enhancements. The characters now have Touch-Screen Tummies as well as techy gadgets like the Tubby Phone smartphone. This helps in introducing a contemporary twist for a new generation of preschoolers. The multi award-winning Teletubbies encourages young children to watch television creatively, providing a safe and beneficial viewing experience. With new episodes airing on Family Jr as well as its French counterpart, Télémagino, Teletubbies is available on the network, OnDemand and online.
New episodes of Teletubbies air on both the English and French-language networks on Mondays at 9:00AM ET. Episodes will continue to air at 9:00AM ET Tuesdays-Fridays as well as weekends at 8:45AM ET (Family Jr.) and 8:15AM (Télémagino).
The episodes are also available at www.familyjr.ca and www.telemagino.ca, as well as to English-language viewers on the Family Channel App.
