Disclosure: I received a copy of Just Dance 2018 to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.
Years ago we got one of the early Wii Fit’s the overall idea was to use it for exercise as we really do not play games on consoles very often. And in all honesty over the years this is exactly what we did.
However a couple of years ago, my oldest daughter was introduced to Just Dance. We decided to check it out to see if it was something that could keep within our intentions of keeping the console for mostly exercise. We did decide to try it out and found that it served two purposes. It was a great disk for helping keep the kids active as well as healthy. However, it also helped them learn the concept of choreography and how it fits music.
My kids are often involved in church and school musical and theatrical performances and I found that on top of actually keeping them active it helped them develop a bit more of the type of muscle control that is needed for them to properly work the dance choreography they do for their shows.
This will be the third of the Just dance series that the girls have to enjoy. They will be thrilled to hear all the new songs that are on the new version.
Just Dance 2018 offers a fresh and diverse track list with more than 40 new songs. It includes access to over 300 more with a free three-month trail of Just Dance® Unlimited. Which is a dance-on-demand streaming service**, included with every copy. There’s something for everyone, including Billboard chart-toppers like Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito.” and Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” pop queen jams like Beyoncé’s “Naughty Girl,” Lady Gaga’s “John Wayne” and Katy Perry ft. Nicki Minaj’s “Swish Swish,” classic oldies like Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust,” K-pop favorites like HyunA’s “Bubble Pop,” as well as other hot hits like Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” and Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar.” Exclusively on Nintendo Switch™ players can enjoy an HD revamp of the fan-favorite Mario dance, plus unique two-handed Double Rumble choreographies developed for the first time using HD rumble technology.
