Thames And Kosmos Chocolate Science Lab encourages the science of cooking
From a very early age my youngest daughter has always wanted to help out in the kitchen. To a lesser extent our oldest daughter has started to express an interest in cooking as well. Thames and Kosmos has this excellent project kit called a Chocolate Science Lab that actually combines two subjects. Cooking and Science. The kit walks kids through the steps involved in molding chocolate and it even includes gift boxes and wraps so you can make them into gifts for your family and friends.
This project kit is a great resource for the kids in your home, that love to help out in the kitchen. It allows them to play with one of most kids favorite foods (chocolate) while introducing at an early age, the concept of using science as an important tool in cooking. This is certainly helpful in both introducing cooking to kids who have not tried it before, as well as introducing new concepts to those who already enjoy the kitchen.
