Apricot Collection Review
I was recently given the opportunity by the Apricot Collection to review one of their products. The opinions are my own.
This is the dress I chose. It can be found on the Apricot Collection site here
The thing is, that we have over time pieced together my wife a half decent collection of dresses for many different occasions. The problem is that almost everything we liked was always a dark coloured dress. This time when I looked, I found a good dress for my wife that could be worn out for almost any purpose and yet was not a dark blue or black dress. It was a great addition to her wardrobe because it allows her more flexibility in clothing that suits the situation.
There were also a couple of other factors on this dress that made it stand out as a good choice. For one the colours while not dark were still actually fairly distinctive and not washed out. In addition the material was surprisingly quite a strong and solid material. In our house strong material and durable material are very important. We have 3 kids under the age of 10 and two of them are special needs (autism in one and ODD in another) and this means that at any given time, we as parents may be called on to sort out any form of difficulty, from a standard messy house to a whirlwind effort that can only be created by those that are specially talented in creating a mess. When we deal with this, we need to have durable clothing, we also need to be able to answer the call no matter what we were dressed to do. These clothes actually help address that in a very good way.
The fact of the matter is, given the option, we would likely add more clothes from Apricot Collection to my wife’s wardrobe. It is always good to have clothes that are nice looking and functional all at the same time. It is also difficult to find. This company has accomplished that and done so in a way that makes me pleased to have had the opportunity to work with them.
